What is data integration?
Devon asks Derek to explain what successful data integration means at [3:47]. Derek talks about how cloud applications often result in a business spanning multiple systems, and how to support that new, widespread process.
Organizations often fall into the trap of “siloed data,” which Derek discusses at [6:25]. A tricky situation is one in which either the employee experience is top notch, or the customer process is smooth and easy—not both.
